PINHEAD is an idiosyncratic art project whose sole member is multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter and singer Ilja John Lappin. It is an outlet for dark longings that manifest themselves in atmospheric progressive metal, melancholic, personal lyrics and in all the horror and beauty of human individuation.

PINHEAD's music tells of breaking and getting up again, of the farewell to indoctrinated ideas and the ghosts of the past, of leaving an old world behind in order to embrace everything and above all: yourself.
